Most festivals announce next year's dates within weeks of this year's edition finishing — usually buried in a "thank you for coming" email, not a headline announcement. We check for the real ones and verify each date against the organiser's own site before it goes on this list. Four confirmed so far; more will land through autumn.
A date only goes on this list once it appears on the organiser's own website — not because of a ticket-sale headline, an early-bird deadline or a payment-plan cutoff. Plenty of festivals are already selling 2027 tickets without having published dates, and those wait until they do. This list grows through autumn and winter as more festivals confirm — check back, or use the concierge to ask about a specific one.
Confirmed for Saturday 12 June 2027 at Dreamland's seafront amusement park in Margate — the earliest 2027 date confirmed anywhere on this list. Rewind on Sea is Dreamland's one-day music event, part of the venue's Margate Summer Series programme rather than a standalone camping festival: a single day, city-based, built around Dreamland's vintage funfair setting on the Kent coast. Tickets are handled through AXS; no price was listed on the announcement page at time of writing, so check the organiser's site directly before booking.
Confirmed for 24–25 July 2027 at Tanzbrunnen on the Rhine in Cologne. Amphi is Europe's leading gothic, EBM, industrial and darkwave festival — a two-day, non-camping city event with a mid-sized, dedicated scene audience (around 12,500 capacity) rather than a mainstream booking. The riverside Tanzbrunnen venue is a short walk from central Cologne, making it one of the more accessible European festivals on this list logistically.
Confirmed on the festival's own site as "Let's do it all again 29th - 31st July 2027." Belladrum runs on the Belladrum Estate near Beauly in the Scottish Highlands — a family-friendly, indie/pop-leaning multi-genre festival with a strong folk undercurrent, known for its home-grown, community feel rather than the largest headliners on the circuit. Medium-scale and consistently well-reviewed for atmosphere over spectacle.
Confirmed for the August bank holiday weekend, 27–29 August 2027, on Southsea seafront in Portsmouth. Victorious is one of the largest UK city-based festivals — around 80,000 capacity, no camping required, with a broad pop/rock/indie booking policy that draws a wide, non-niche crowd across three days. The seafront location and lack of camping make it one of the more accessible large UK festivals for a weekend visit without festival infrastructure.

Open the Map →September is early for 2027 date announcements — most festivals confirm progressively through autumn and winter, with the heaviest run typically landing alongside early-bird ticket launches in October and November, and a second wave in January and February once venues and headline slots are locked in. Four confirmed dates in September is normal, not thin. This list will grow substantially over the coming months.
End of the Road Festival has Tier 3 tickets on sale now with a payment plan running until 30 June 2027 — but that's a payment deadline, not a festival date, and no 2027 dates appear on the organiser's own site yet. Shambala Festival has announced its 2027 pre-sale for 30 September, but again, no festival dates are published yet. Both will be added here the moment their own site states actual 2027 dates — not before.
Rewind on Sea at Dreamland Margate is the earliest confirmed 2027 date on record — 12 June, a single-day city event rather than a full camping festival. Victorious Festival's August bank holiday weekend (27–29 August) is the latest so far. Between them, Amphi in Cologne (24–25 July) and Belladrum in the Scottish Highlands (29–31 July) fill the mid-summer window — a useful early signal that late June through August is filling in as usual for 2027.
If a festival you care about sold out or raised prices in tiers this year, its early tickets are usually the cheapest available before headliners are confirmed. Belladrum and Victorious have both had years where demand outpaced early capacity — booking early is lower-risk for those two than waiting for a full lineup. For the others, there's no urgency yet; check back as more of the calendar fills in.
