Tame Impala closes the festival, Muse headline the Friday, and tickets go on sale on Friday 30 October at 10:00. Here's what last year cost, how the sale works, and where to go if you miss out.
Rock Werchter returns to the Festivalpark in Werchter, near Leuven, from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 July 2027. It's one of Belgium's biggest festivals: four days of big international headliners, with camping on site.
Ticket sales start on Friday 30 October 2026 at 10:00 Belgian time, which is 09:00 in the UK. A presale gives earlier access to registered fans, and registration is open now on the Rock Werchter website. Prices haven't been published yet.
Three names so far, announced one at a time since August. The festival says more will follow.
Tame Impala close the festival on Sunday 4 July. They were the first headliner announced, on 24 August.
Muse headline on Friday 2 July, announced on 13 October.
SOMBR plays the Main Stage on Sunday 4 July, announced on 6 October.
For a sense of scale, the 2026 edition was headlined by The Cure, Gorillaz, The Prodigy and The xx.
Belgium is one hour ahead of the UK. The clocks go back on 25 October, before the sale, so 10:00 in Belgium is 09:00 in the UK.
1. Register for the presale now. The Rock Werchter website has a presale registration link that gives earlier access to tickets. The festival hasn't said when the presale runs, so register now and watch your inbox.
2. General sale: Friday 30 October, 10:00. This is the official on-sale time for everyone.
What it cost in 2026 (2027 prices aren't out yet): a four-day combi ticket was €315 and a Thursday or Friday day ticket €140, with service costs, the mobility contribution and the eco contribution included. A regular campsite was €48.61.
In 2026 the Saturday and Sunday day tickets sold out, along with some of the premium camping. Tame Impala play the 2027 Sunday, so expect that day to go first again.
Use the ticket link on rockwerchter.be. Resale sites list tickets well above face value, and the festival can't help you if a resold ticket doesn't work.
If the day you want sells out, these are the closest alternatives. Two of them also have Tame Impala in 2027.
Tame Impala play the Orange Stage, their first Roskilde show in 11 years. It's a non-profit festival outside Copenhagen, it runs for a full week, and tickets are already on sale.
On the Lisbon waterfront, the week after Werchter. Tame Impala play on 10 July. Day tickets are already on sale at €89.
A smaller lakeside festival across the Dutch border, on the same weekend. No line-up yet. The 2026 edition had Little Simz, The xx and Florence + The Machine.
Belgium's other big four-day summer festival, in Limburg, with a broader mix of genres. Tickets aren't on sale yet.
More options: the biggest festivals in Europe and every 2027 date confirmed so far.
Fly into Brussels (BRU). Travel details for 2027 haven't been published yet. In 2026 they worked like this:
The 2026 festival ticket included a return 2nd-class train journey from any Belgian station to Leuven or Aarschot, using the SNCB code on your ticket. The festival ticket itself isn't a train ticket.
Free shuttles ran between both stations and the festival. At Leuven they leave from the Diestsepoort side of the station.
Most people camp. Hotels in Leuven are the usual alternative, and the one people recommend if you're coming with children or want to sleep.
Regulars rate the bill among the best in Europe, with strong headliners across a wide range of genres.
The camping is loud and party-oriented. People warn that The Hive plays music until 04:00, and you'll hear it from inside your tent.
The buses out are packed and chaotic at the end of the night, but they keep moving. Don't plan a tight connection.
