Tickets
From the official 2027 ticket overview, checked 26 October. Wacken sells in phases, and each one costs more than the last.
Sold out: the Loyalty, Faster and Harder phases. Faster went quickly when the sale opened in August, and Harder was €351.
On sale: LOUDER, €364 plus a €2 ticket fee. In the festival's own words, “the first ticket sales phases are over, but the path to Wacken is still open to you.”
YOUNGER, €279 plus €2, for anyone up to 25 at the start of the festival. It's sold in limited numbers.
The Pit-Ticket, €1,399, or €1,049 as an upgrade if you already hold a 2027 ticket. The official ticket overview explains what it includes.
Wacken runs its own fan-to-fan ticket market in the Wacken Ticketcenter, already open for 2027. Trading tickets or wristbands on the festival grounds without permission is banned, and the festival says it reports people who do.
Under 18
Wacken has no general minimum age, but it asks parents not to bring young children. If you do:
Under 6: free, but they may only stay on the campsite, not the festival grounds.
6 to 12: free entry with a parent or guardian.
13 to 15: with a parent or guardian, or with an adult over 18 who has the guardians' written permission.
16 and 17: allowed on the festival grounds until midnight.
Everyone aged 13 to 18 needs a YOUNGER ticket.
