The line-up landed on 5 October: Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn and 146 more. Fan sale on 8 October, general sale on 9 October. Both of the last two editions sold out, so here's exactly how the sale works and what to do if you miss it.
Primavera Sound Barcelona returns to the Parc del Fòrum on Barcelona's seafront from 2 to 6 June 2027. It's the festival's 25th edition. The main days are Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 June. On Sunday 6 June there's an all-day “Primavera Bits” takeover with Richie Hawtin, Four Tet and Dixon, and there are shows across the city during the week.
The line-up was announced on Monday 5 October 2026. Ticket sales follow fast. If you haven't registered for the fan sale by 23:59 CEST on Wednesday 7 October, your first chance to buy is the general sale on Friday 9 October, at a higher price.
151 acts were announced on 5 October. The top of the bill:
Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack, Turnstile, Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, Pavement, Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi, ADÉLA, Prospa and Caroline Polachek.
Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi plays the closing set. Further down: Pavement, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Underworld, ANOHNI, Bleachers, Isaiah Rashad, Dinosaur Jr., Converge, DIIV, Julien Baker, Tinashe, Kim Petras, Shygirl, Brutalismus 3000 b2b Isoxo, Weyes Blood, Joy Orbison, Arca and Vashti Bunyan.
On Sunday 6 June, “Primavera Bits” runs an all-day takeover with Richie Hawtin × Four Tet × Dixon.
It's a typical Primavera spread: big pop and rap names, 90s indie (Pavement), guitar bands (Fontaines D.C., Turnstile) and enough electronic music that the late-night stages can carry a whole trip by themselves.
There are two stages, and the price goes up between them. All times are Barcelona time (CEST), which is one hour ahead of the UK and Portugal.
1. Register for the fan sale, by 23:59 CEST on Wednesday 7 October. Registration opened on the Primavera Sound website when the line-up was announced. If you don't register, you can't buy in the fan sale.
2. Fan sale: Thursday 8 October, 11:00 CEST. Registered fans get an email with purchase instructions that day. It runs for 24 hours or until tickets run out. A general pass is €295 and VIP is €545.
3. General sale: Friday 9 October, 11:00 CEST. The general pass goes up to €350. VIP stays at €545.
Discounts: Barcelona residents get 10% off through AccessTicket. Revolut customers get €20 off, and their sale window runs until 10 October.
Both the 2025 and 2026 editions sold out completely. The price has only ever gone up, so the fan sale is the cheapest a pass will be.
Attendees point out that the AccessTicket code is a presale password, not a discount coupon. It gets you into the sale; it doesn't take money off. Check which one you've been sent before 11:00 on the day.
If the general sale goes the way the last two did, a lot of people will miss out. These are the closest alternatives in Spain and Portugal. Most haven't confirmed 2027 dates yet, so check before you book anything.
The same organisers, with a line-up that usually overlaps Barcelona's, in Parque da Cidade by the sea. People who've been to both say Porto is smaller, more relaxed and cheaper for accommodation.
If the electronic side of the Primavera line-up is what you're there for, Sónar is Barcelona's other big June festival. It's built around music, art and technology, with separate day and night programmes.
The same seafront site a few weeks later, with a broad multi-genre line-up and cheaper tickets. Its 2026 headliners were David Byrne, Garbage and Pixies.
Madrid's biggest international festival: four days of headline acts in the capital, and easy to reach by high-speed train from Barcelona.
Further options: Bilbao BBK Live (a hilltop site above Bilbao, strong indie line-ups, July) and NOS Alive (Lisbon waterfront, July). The Spain festival guide has the full list, and our Primavera Sound sold-out alternatives page compares all eight with confirmed 2027 dates.
The site is on the seafront at the northeast end of Barcelona. Fly into Barcelona El Prat (BCN), or arrive by train at Barcelona Sants.
The simplest way in. A T-casual card covers ten journeys for about €13, which is enough for the three main days.
A useful alternative when the metro is crowded at the start and end of the night.
For getting back after the last sets, when the metro may have stopped.
The neighbourhood regulars recommend most: restaurants, bars and the beach, and close enough to walk home. Being able to walk back after late sets is the single most repeated tip.
Regulars say the price rises by roughly €20 a year, and the €55 gap between this year's fan sale and general sale is the same story in miniature.
People who've been say hotel prices jump the moment dates or line-ups drop, then settle. Get the ticket first; the room can wait a few weeks.
Barcelona is the bigger, pricier edition with a real after-hours scene. Porto is smaller and calmer, with cheaper accommodation and almost no aftershow scene. If you miss out on Barcelona, Porto isn't a consolation prize; it's a different trip.
